Fiddleheads Factoid:
The majority of men begin to notice physical and emotional changes starting in their early 30s. Research confirms that this is largely due to a drastic decline in male hormone levels - a phenomenon known as andropause.
Not only do men lose approximately 10 percent of their manliest of male hormones - testosterone each decade after age 30, by the time they are 60, they are lucky to have 50 percent of what they produced when they were in their early 20's - the peak of their health and vitality.
Mortality rates are 88% higher in men with low testosterone, compared with men who have normal testosterone levels.
